The limit switch is used to monitor the position of the gate wedge.
It can be mounted on most vertical (ground) or wall-mounted gate valve position indicators. It is also possible to mount it on specially designed dampers.
Limit switches are used in fire protection and other installations requiring constant supervision (monitoring). Depending on the model, they can be fitted with one or two potential-free contacts, indicating the position of the gate (fully open or fully closed). The housing is protected against the effects of the weather and screwed with two screws with non-standard ends. This protects the device from tampering. Optionally, it can be fitted with an additional microswitch to monitor the closure of the cover (model WIP-3). The units can be used indoors and outdoors.
